The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia in its 100ml bottle, is characterised by good acidity which after 12-years has now smoothed out the sharpest edges. Goes well with fairly strong flavours and structured dishes with fatty tendency.
The Red Label identifies Real & Guaranteed ageing for more than 12-years and has obtained a minimum score at the tasting consortium (an independent governing body) of at least 240 points.
The Traditional 12-Year Label Balsamic is perfect on it’s own at the end of a meal to restore the stomach & spirit, by pouring into a porcelain or plastic spoon or by placing a few drops into a wine glass to savour all its nuances.
Unique flavours from tamarind, liquorice, dried fruits, dried plum, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, wood, honey and black cherries will be noted and enjoyed.
This is very excellent to complete sweet dishes, such as risotto or pumpkin tortellini, or on mature cheeses and enjoyed with seafood crustaceans.
